So, I am pretty much set on trying to VBAC. While I like my OB, I don't feel like he's 100% behind my decision. More like half behind and half waiting to suggest a RCS. I met with a midwife today and she indicated that my conditions to VBAC were very good and thought I would have a 99% chance at one.
There is always the unknown, and the midwife works with OBs in the office, so I feel okay if something warranted a RCS.
Did anyone have a midwife? Did you like the services provided to you? TIA
Re: Has anyone had a midwife?
I had a MW with both my births, and am seeing one again.
My opinion- if you think your OB is that wishy washy on a VBAC, SWITCH! If your provider isn't confident in you it will wear down on your confidence. No one can say "Yes, 100% you will have a VBAC" but they should at least be willing to support you and believe in you.

Do you mind sharing the practice? I live in the capital region, too, so was just curious. I had an OB/midwife practice, too. I saw the midwives for my routine monthly care.. but I actually had to switch over to the OB part as I had severe pre-e and I ended up with a c/s at 35 weeks.
I absolutely loved and adored the care the midwives gave me, though.
