I voted SS. I like them as a warm boot for winter time, but I do not think they are good looking. I don't wear them like most people do (over their pants, with skirts, or whatever), I just wear them under my jeans to they just look like regular shoes. Plus I like that they are higher so when my pants get wet from the snow then my leg isn't cold. There are few things in this world that I hate more than the feeling of wet jeans on your leg.
I'm not going to lie-I used to think they were ugly as sin. BUT then I tried on a friend's and it was all over. My parents bought me a pair for Christmas a few years ago, I still wear them but I'm such a freak about wearing them in bad weather b/c I don't want to ruin them. I guess that's why they've stayed nice for 4 years

This pretty much exactly! I just asked for a new pair of Bearpaws for Christmas (which Amazon has for under $40 now if anyone is looking).
When they first came out I thought they were the ugliest things ever and could not believe people spent that much money for glorified slippers. But now I don't mind them so much anymore, and I think they look really cute on little girls (three of my nieces have them). I'm still on the fence with adults though. But they do look so warm.
I love my black ones. My F just got me a pair for xmas that I have been wanting for awhile. Originally they cost $180 but they were on sale for $99. Very expensive for boots still but I like them

Ditto on both of these things.

I can't say I love them because I've never tried them, but I do want a pair! I tried on some knockoffs yesterday and they were $150, which isn't much less than Uggs, so I thought for that price I might as well get Uggs.

I don't really care, but I do roll my eyes when I see people wearing them in Houston when it's 70 degrees outside. We don't get much cold weather here, so they seem ridiculous.

I have a pair of Rocket Dogs that are kind of like UGGs, but cuter. I think UGGs are super comfy, and even cute if you wear them the right way, NOT with a mini skirt and leg warmers.
I'm just over them, they've been around forever. No joke my dad tried to bring them over from Australia in the late 70s after living there, before they became huge in the US. But there were issues and stuff and then bam they were everywhere, every time he sees a pair he feels the need to blame my mom for holding him back lol.
I don't like them, but maybe it's just sour grapes, I have fat legs and they are not flattering on me.

Totally agree. They are so warm and comfy but I hide them under my pant legs.

I think they are hideous and look like someone just stepped into dough, but whatevs. Just NMS. I'm sure people think I'm a kook for wearing combat boots and they think, "Look at that girl who's never seen a war. Poser." Meh. Wear what you like and be happy.
