Is it just me or is a peach bigger than a lemon?

Maybe Ive just seen huge peaches but even my husband agreed. Im "upgrading" tomorrow and just thought that was weird.

Agreed. Maybe it goes by length and not overall girth? Lemons are longish. Any grocery store employees/experienced fruit gropers out there?

I'm no expert but I've been told that the Bump fruit sizes go by length and not girth (like PP said). Lemons are more oblong than peaches, so usually they are longer.

I just checked out the fruit ticker explanation page and it goes by length.

They also go from avocado to an onion. That is one very large onion for being 5 in. THey are pretty round like to start with.

Peach is bigger but lemon is longer.

that does seem weird, because on my first instinct as well a peach is bigger but I guess if you go by length the lemon is bigger on average. then again I have seen some pretty big peaches
