Was supposed to go up and see my cousin, his wife, and their new baby at my Gram's... but now she's not feeling so well, so we don't want to overburden her. Not sure if we're going to meet somewhere else, or what.
My best friend was also supposed to stay from Saturday night (when she flew in from Cali) through Monday morning... but SHE'S sick too, so now she might go straight to her parents to recover there and come see us next weekend instead.
So maybe a lot and maybe nothing! LOL.
If all plans fall through, we'll probably just clean a lot and hang Christmas decorations.
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD
Friday: I have to drop J off at work and A off at school this morning, then stop to pay the water bill, stop at SIL's clinic to pick up paperwork to take home and fill out before returning with our newest additions for their intake physicals. I am going to try to get everybody down for a nap at the same time (I need some sleep!) before picking A up from school. We have to pick J up from work this afternoon and will probably come home where I will try for another nap. I think I am going to make homemade mac n cheese for dinner along with green beans and Quorn Chick'n patties, the baby will be having formula. I am determined that bedtime will happen on time today.
Saturday: We had plans to meet up with a couple that we are backup caregivers for, we've been trying to get together for the past month but may not be able to depending on the weather. I'm sure we will go to J's parents so they can meet the baby (if we don't tonight).
Sunday: J works and A has a soccer game. I think I may have to take all 4 kids on my own.
Our friend is supposed to visit for the weekend, but she frequently cancels because of work. If she comes, we're doing a 5K tomorrow and maybe seeing a movie in the afternoon/evening, then decorating the tree on Sunday afternoon. If she doesn't come, I'm going to spend tomorrow cleaning and sorting stuff to get rid of before we move. We'll still decorate the tree on Sunday, and maybe see a movie in the evening. I also need to do some freezer cooking. And figure out Christmas presents.
Tonight will be a regular night. Home for dinner and a movie. I am sure I will stay up too late watching stuff L hates and I watch when she isn't home.
Saturday the kids have swimming class and then we need to go to the post office to mail some stuff I sold on e-bay. I am hoping they will take an early nap, but unless a miracle happens, I doubt it. We are heading to a co-workers house for a holiday party in the afternoon. Why am I nervous about hanging out with my co-workers?!?! If they don't take a nap, bedtime should be early and easy!
Sunday we have no plans. We need to run to Target to get some stuff for the kids class, I need to start addressing holiday cards, and if the kids get itchy to do something, we'll go see the Muppet movie.
Tonight - normal night. DW's going to grab pizza. Maybe i'll go really crazy and let the kids watch a dora episode
Tomorrow - playdate with our moms group at a play place. I'm really nervous. It'll be our first outing with RB in undies AND its a long drive. What do i do if she has an accident in her carseat on the way there?? As in, how do i get her home without making her sit in her pee for an hour? oy. i'm probably worrying for nothing - i need to give that child more credit. No plans for the evening - i may surprise the family with another thanksgiving dinner since i have a turkey in the freezer I didnt get to make for the holiday.
Sunday - Church in the morning. In the evening we may get together with good friends who are in town.
What do i do if she has an accident in her carseat on the way there?? As in, how do i get her home without making her sit in her pee for an hour?
I worried about this forever before PTing and went as far to buy "piddle pads" online for the carseat (yea, don't laugh.) We ended up never opening the piddle pads, but in the beginning when I was really worried, I put plastic pants/bloomer things (from Target) on over underwear (I did this when we were traveling by plane and I was nervous we'd have a potty emergency while the seatbelt sign was on - but did it a couple of times for longer car rides and called them "travel underwear." The other thing I have done was to put a folded towel underneath them (not too bulky) to absorb a good bit if there was an accident. We also traveled with a potty in the back of the van for awhile (and I have still been known to have to pull over on a busy highway to let a child pee out of the van.) Hopefully RB has a bigger bladder than my two.

This is why I'm not leaving this board until my kids are 25 or something. You guys are so helpful!
tonight: Japanese steakhouse! I've been wanting to go for a while, so my wife set it up with a bunch of friends of ours. I'm really looking forward to it.
tomorrow: hopefully getting a successful photo for our holiday cards. :-P and maybe going to the zoo to see the lights, we'll see.
Sunday: church, then getting our tree up (although I'd be fine with that happening earlier in the weekend!) and getting some things done around the house.

OMG... I don't ever want to potty train. She'll figure it out on her own before high school, right?!

At some point this weekend sushi and beer to celebrate our BFN!!! Weird but its how we cope. DW isnt drinking at all while TTC even between cycles but we decided one beer wasnt going to hurt.
Other than that DW is finishing revisions on her thesis and gets cleared for her Master's this coming Friday...THANK GOD!!!!
My weekend is going to consist of rest because I am pretty sure I am on the verge of bronchitis. My asthma is ANGRY and I feel like hell. So rest rest rest and avoid having to go to the doctors cause of crazy fevers.
We had three BFN in the Fall of 2011. It is back on to some baby making come June. Swim little fellas, SWIM!!!!
We also traveled with a potty in the back of the van for awhile (and I have still been known to have to pull over on a busy highway to let a child pee out of the van.) Hopefully RB has a bigger bladder than my two.
THIS. We had the small plastic (pink!) baby.bjorn potty in the back of my car for emergencies. And let me tell you, it got used for a major pee emergency within a week of me putting it in the car. She had fallen asleep and woke up needing to go...bad. Life.saver...or carseat saver.
Tonight: No plans as of yet. Maybe something exciting like cleaning the house?
Tomorrow: Taking my car in for oil change, some non-emergency part recall, etc. I'm hoping to have dinner with a mommy friend. We typically have our kids on opposite weekends but she doesn't have her son this weekend due to having him for the holiday last weekend. Yay for kid-free conversation!
Sunday: I need to hang the outdoor lights and it's looking like the weather might cooperate (read: no downpours). Aside from that, I don't know. I should probably get going on my shopping for E's presents.
OMG... I don't ever want to potty train. She'll figure it out on her own before high school, right?!
Potty training was a nightmare for us. We tried at 3y and at the end of the first day, we went through 29 pairs of underwear and spent nearly the entire day in the bathroom. Yep, 29. L called her mom and said it was the worst day of her life. LOL. A week later Gray was almost there and our nanny up and quit and he regressed big time. We threw in the towel until things got situated and then trained again at 3y 3m when they went to preschool. They did better, but came home with wet underwear daily for several months. And even now, when they say they have to go in the car, they have to go THEN. So, if you are in the DC area and see a minivan pulled over on 495 with a kid peeing out the sliding door, it is probably me.
Friday: C is going to karate tonight, so I'll watch bad TV and make myself something she wouldn't call dinner. Ever seen the SATC episode about "secret single person behavior"? It's like that.
Saturday: Cleaning, sorting, boxing, donating a ton of stuff in our house to get ready to stage the house for photos and to get rid of stuff before the move. C has done a ton of work on her own stuff, so this weekend will likely be sorting through a lot of my stuff. In the evening, either dinner out or the Muppet movie.
Sunday: More of the same. Muppet matinee if we don't go on Saturday. Also need to catch up with my family via the phone, I haven't talked to them in a while because we were all in separate places for Thanksgiving.
Same sex couple TTC with donor sperm. I am 35 and carrying. Endometriosis and DOR. AMH 0.5, AFC 5-8, FSH 7ish
Friday- I'm super cleaning, obviously seeing as how I'm on here, for our guests who are coming over. Did I mention J will be gone to an office party while I entertain by myself? I'm currently trying to figure out how to get my back living room from smelling like dog pee. That stupid new dog. And it's all ceramic tile so there's no reason it should smell!!
Saturday- Puppy play time to wear my dogs down then training, lunch then home to take care of a sick wife. She refuses to go to the doctor. Also some more donor searching. *sigh* So many choices
F: Off work today, started to clean out the 2nd bedroom closet (much more fun than studying for finals), went to lunch with DW, ran errands, took 6month old Kira to her first puppy class. I think she did really well. Napped for 2 hours after dinner and am trying to study - not very successfully
S: Homework, two company Christmas parties... :P
S: Probably more homework, maybe a movie? But I'm probably just kidding myself. The semester will be over in 2 weeks - phew!! Definitely another nap.
