Shower Hostess Gift Ideas, pretty please!

My mom is hosting my shower.  I really want to get her some sort of gift as a thank you, but I have zero idea what to get or how much to spend!  I thought of following the theme of the shower (we are having an afternoon tea!) and getting her a special tea cup and really quality tea, but that feels more like something I would enjoy than she would.  What did you do or do you plan on doing for your hostess-with-the-mostest?!?!?

    I had a family/friends shower hosted by my sister&aunt and a work shower hosted by 2 of the people I work with. I got a coupon in the mail from yankee candle for buy 2 get 2 free, so everybody got holiday scented candles! For my aunt and sister I got little special things like an aunt picture frame and one of those willow tree angels(they have a thank you one).

    I like to give potted orchids as hostess gifts. I've never met a woman who didn't love an orchid, especially moms!

    I gave my friend a gift cert. to get her hair done. She is always doing things for other people and never does things like that for herself. It was more spendy, but worth it to treat her:)

    I think this is a great idea! However, my mom loves orchids!

    My mom is also hosting my shower and i got her a digital picture fram (on sale on Black Friday!!!) that i'm going to give her and when baby girl arrives i'm going to upload pictures onto it for her

    My mom, cousin, and best friend are co-hosting a shower for my family tomorrow.  I'm getting the cousin a gift certificate to Massage Envy and the friend a gift certificate for a different spa.  For my mom, I'm getting her a new Pandora bracelet and the baby carriage charm (also part of her Christmas present).

    My MIL and SIL are hosting a shower for their side sometime soon (surprise).  MIL is getting the same thing as my mom, also as part of her Christmas gift.  Haven't come up with a gift for SIL yet though I might get her a gift certificate to the restaurant she and BIL love near their house.

    My best friend and another really close friend are hosting mine so I made them each a gift basket including a bottle of their favorite wine, 2 nice wine glasses in each from Crate and Barrel, a wine bottle stopper perfect for their personal style, and a small candle.  I spent about $50 or so on each basket and they have the same stuff in each but it's tailored to their personality/taste.  For instance one is a great chef, so I got her a wine bottle stopper that says "born to cook" with little danlgy kitchen utensils and my other friend should be a professional shopper, so I got her one that says "born to shop" and it has shoes and gift bags on it.
