(sorry not a clicky, on the phone at work...)
This was mentioned on a below post but just seeing where everyone else stands.
My girl name is # 76. Boy name is # 4 as a nickname for full first name at # 22.
Re: Is your baby's name on the most popular list for 2011?
It's #86 for boys but we are using it for our little girl. You can just say we are rebels!
We are team green and have 2 names for each. 1 of each is on the list.
Boys Max #44 not surprised
Rocco not on the list not surprised
Girls
Penelope #91 (kinda surprised)
Finley not on list (kinda surprised)
I could both of the girls names being on the list and I could see them not on the list.
OP-Two of my BFF's sister's had little girls this year and named them Nora. So surprised because I don't feel I hear it that much.
Manuel did not make the list

This isn't the official social security administration list, and I checked that when picking out our names.
Nope, and last time I checked the SS website, it was in the high 300s so I don't think I'll see it on a top 100 list.
DS's name is on there in the 30 range. (I looked at it yesterday but don't remember the actual number now).

my currently-reading shelf:
Olivia is #4 and Ava is #5. I don't really care about popularity. If I like a name I'm going to use it.
Caleb is #11 but I don't really care, I've had the name picked out for years and we're likely going to spell is Kaleb. I am a little surprised to see it so high though, I didn't think it was that popular.
The names we have for a girl are Riley (19), Molly (58) or Harper (60). I'd rather stay away from super popular names, but if its a name that I really love then I will still go with it.
My name is Amanda, which I like, and it wasn't the end of the world having 2 or 3 other Amandas in my class growing up.
We were this close to picking Hayden for our little girl name. But we settled on Peyton, which is 22. I don't really care about how popular it is as long as we like it.
Cambria, Keira, and Bonnie Quinn
Mine is and it went up in popularity this year, which does bum me out. I grew up a Jennifer and hated how popular it was. Our baby's name is Layla (#23). It was the only name we could agree on besides Sasha, which we kind of ruined by naming our dog Sasha. Sometimes I still just want to go ahead and use it for our baby.
My other favorites are not on there for a girl...Blake, Noelle, and Vivian.
Our boy name is not on there...Cruz.
