Oakland Mall has a nice Santa and village there. Plus they have a train there for the little ones as well...I would try some of the malls...Since you said Macomb County, I would say Lakeside Mall or Partridge Creek. Hope this helps:)
Genesee Valley Mall has an awesome Santa. My friend takes her girls every year, he looks like the real deal. I'm planning to take my girls a weekday morning.
It's not Macomb county, but I think it's worth going to Somerset. They have a really nice Santa set-up and if you can go early during the week, the line really isn't that bad. I like that you get 6 different pictures with a print of each as well as the cd with reprint rights. They also give you 3 coins at the end which you can redeem for little prizes at select stores. Even if your LO is too young to understand the coins, it's still kind of fun to go around.

Village of Rochester!! Fabulous Display and Santa! but downfall is because santa sits in a little hut- you have to line up outdoors! .... I hear Patridge Creek has a Santa @ Parisian. We take our little one to sommerset- hands down the best display and most real like looking Santa! ( but I think that is Oakland County).
