Is this too baby-ish for 2.5 year old boys?

It's the Melissa & Doug Stacking Construction Vehicles. They come apart in 4 pieces or something like that so they're also puzzles. I'm just wondering if my 2.5 year olds will get bored with them quickly because they're not life-like enough or they can't really grab onto them and push them through the house at lightning speed, which is their favorite.

If you have this, can you tell me if I should return it or not?

We have some that are similar. It will be hit or miss honestly. I think they will be entertaining but it won't be hours upon hours of entertainment. We have these too and they are far more entertaining!

I don't think they are too babyish at all. C has the Emergency stacking vehicles (thanks to miss ndk ;-) I think they were for his1st birthday but he still LOVES them. When he first got them he would just pull them apart and we would help him put them together. But now he likes to take them apart, put them together, and mix up the parts for fun. He also loves to put one in each hand and zoom around on the floor with them.

D has those and the emergency vehicle set and loves them. He likes taking them all apart and then figuring out how to put them back together. We don't have a lot of life like vehicles though so I don't really have that to compare these to.
