Update on me- Am I still welcome?

I started spotting today so I am pretty sure AF will be here soon.

We have been discussing surrogacy for awhile with a friend of ours. She is finally at the point she is ready. We are finally at the point where DH and I are (hmm not really ready but I dunno... ?accepting? of it.) This is not really where I was hoping our journey would go, but as I said in a previous post: I am just working on a dream that has taken so many unexpected turns.

We are rushing to get our ducks in a row as our expected start date would be around mid-January. RE is on board and so is us (Intended Parents, or IP) and our Surrogate Mother (or SM).

I guess I am not sure where I fit now. 2IF has been my "home" for years now, I have even spoke with the bump about becoming it's moderator. Am I still welcome to share in my and everyone else's journeys here, or is there somewhere else I would be better suited?

Of course you are still welcome. I can not imagine that there is anyone that would push you away. If this cycle does not workout for us, we will be moving to the surrogate route as well. Good luck and I hope that you do not have to wait long for another baby.

I'm so sorry that this cycle was so rough; I wish it'd been a better outcome for you.

I think we are possibly moving on to surrogate too and I know I'll still be coming around, so you better be too! Big Smile How wonderful that you have a friend who has volunteered to give you that gift!

Of course you are still welcome! I don't think I ever had the chance to tell you how sorry I am that it did not work for you last cycle. It is so unfair with everything you have gone through, you totally deserved that BFP. I admire your bravery with moving onto the next step and you are so lucky that you have someone so wonderful in your life who can help you out by being a surrogate. I wish you best of luck in this new phase!
