I started spotting today so I am pretty sure AF will be here soon.
We have been discussing surrogacy for awhile with a friend of ours. She is finally at the point she is ready. We are finally at the point where DH and I are (hmm not really ready but I dunno... ?accepting? of it.) This is not really where I was hoping our journey would go, but as I said in a previous post: I am just working on a dream that has taken so many unexpected turns.
We are rushing to get our ducks in a row as our expected start date would be around mid-January. RE is on board and so is us (Intended Parents, or IP) and our Surrogate Mother (or SM).
I guess I am not sure where I fit now. 2IF has been my "home" for years now, I have even spoke with the bump about becoming it's moderator. Am I still welcome to share in my and everyone else's journeys here, or is there somewhere else I would be better suited?
Re: Update on me- Am I still welcome?
Of course you are still welcome!!
I am very interested to hear about the new direction that your journey is taking you and your DH.
FX that everything goes smoothly!
My heart is breaking for you...but, onward!!!!!! Exciting new stuff!!!!
: )
Of course!
I think anyone who ever belonged here, whether you leave for amazing or sad reasons, is always welcome here. It's a club no one wants to join, and it's a club we can't ever really leave totally behind.
We're sisters, right?
I couldn't have said it any better myself. Much love to you always xoxo

Ditto!!! Of course you are still welcome! I figure, once you're here, you're a 2IFer for life, no matter what. Sisters, like CG said...like a sorority! I'm actually really looking forward to "joining" you on the journey!

I'm so sorry that this cycle was so rough; I wish it'd been a better outcome for you.
I think we are possibly moving on to surrogate too and I know I'll still be coming around, so you better be too!
How wonderful that you have a friend who has volunteered to give you that gift!

This, exactly. I like to think we're all a family regardless of what happens.
