Has anyone been? I went to the one in Hamburg today and I was pretty impressed. I got the babies extremely clean dress shoes for like $2.50- the lady said tomorrow they're having a $1 sale for their "over inventory". They also had lots of toys- some new- I was looking for the laugh and learn house but came out without it
Re: Once Upon a Child
I haven't been, but now I totally wish I had thought of that last week when I was on a hunt for black dress shoes for the boys. I ended up getting them at payless because I didn't want to spend a lot for shoes they would wear one time! I still paid $15 for each pair though...ugh.
BTW- your sig picture is adorable. I LOVE their Christmas outfits. Too cute
I think that you are going to get better deals (both selling and buying) on craigslist. But for the convenience and not having to go to someone's house or wait around for someone to show up to yours, it is way better.
Things I have or would buy there:
Any "event" type stuff - dress shoes, dresses, rain/snow boots, costumes, her gymnastics leotard, swim shirts, onesies (they have 10 for $10), winter coat or pants.
Things I don't bother with:
cotton pants (too expensive), sneakers (her main shoes I buy at stride rite)
jeans, sweaters, and non-onesie shirts are hit and miss with their prices. I have found some decent priced ones that look brand new and are a nice brand, and then they will randomly have a granimals t-shirt for $4.
I haven't checked out their puzzles, toys, dvd, and books, but it seems like they have a big selection. But that area is almost too crowded and overwhelming.
