Newbie here!

Hi everyone! So, I'm new here (obviously from the title). Found out I was pregnant two weeks ago and, after much dating confusion and a u/s two days ago, I've been told I'm due July 20th.

This is my first time being pregnant. My family has a huge history of infertility and miscarriages. Since I was a young teen, I've pretty much been told that having my own biological children was unlikely (and I was okay with that - I've long since made peace with not having my own kids), so I'm totally blown away (and overwhelmed) that I've even gotten to the stage of being pregnant. I never thought this could happen, but I guess you should never say never, huh? I'm approaching the whole situation with as much cautious optimism as I can handle. The rest is sheer disbelief.

What else do you need to know about me off the top... uhm... I'm Canadian. My husband is English. We met in Japan. Been married for 2? years. I teach drama and English in the public school system at an amazing school. I love to cook (not so much lately though - makes me want to throw up now) and travel.

I look forward to getting to know everyone on the board!

Welcome! I am new as well. According to the calendar, I'm due on July 21st. I go for my 1st u/s next week.
I already have a 7 y.o. boy, and also did not think it would be possible for more children.
