Sharing a room?

My second child will be born in march and my first will be 19 months old.  I want to have them share a room.  Is there any advice anyone in the same situation can give me???

    I'm in the same exact position you're in - due in March and my first will also be 19 months by then.  We're planning to have them share a room, but will have the baby in our room for at least the first 2 months.  Since our room is right next to DS's room, I'm hoping this will allow him to get used to the crying a bit before they're actually sharing a room.  I'm also looking for a good sound machine.  I hope to keep DS in his crib for as long as possible, but obviously if he starts climbing out we'll have to figure something out.  Good luck to both of us:)

    Buddies!!  Thanks for replying, it's nice to lnow others are going through the same thing! I am just going to use a little fan for noise!  Good luck too!
