Hello ladies.......Of course this is my luck.........
Family Photos scheduled tomorrow morning OUTSIDE, please cross your fingers that it is not raining in the AM. IF it is, where else would be a cool place to have the photos taken? If they come out decent, I may use them on Christmas Cards, but I don't really want a Christmas backdrop. Any ideas?
My last resort would be just to do them at our house...........but that seems SOOOO boring
I can't wait to hear your ideas.......
TIA
Re: Need help with Family Photo/Locations
I've seen some cool ones shot at Lagona Gloria. They were outside, but judging from the picture it seems like they were in a covered area for some of them. (I've never been there.) Were you wanting a park feel or an urban feel? Maybe in a trendy coffee shop downtown? Or in that candy shop on South Congress?
the capitol has really neat staircases and stone walls

was also going to suggest the inside of the capitol, main reason because it's free.
laguna gloria charges to shoot there and it's too late to get that permit most likely. don't think the blanton allows photography inside.
is your photog not offering up any suggestions?
Do you have to get a permit if you're not a pro? I was thinking of taking some pictures of Kate at Laguna Gloria, but not if I have to mess with a permit.
Thanks ladies.........all great ideas. I have a call into the photographer to talk about other ideas that she may have, just thought I would poll everyone in the meantime.
Great ideas

You do not need a permit to shoot at LG, you just have to call Keri Dawn to see if a time is available. It is a $25 fee for a family $80 for bridals. I know for sure they have 3 weddings there this weekend but I am sure if they have a time available Keri will help you.
