They're bringing the new fridge in through the garage directly into the kitchen. they might have to take our door of the hinges, and we've already put the other fridge outside so it's about 1/2 the work of what they signed up for. And the alcohol is mine. They can go lick up I95

I worked for an appliance delivery company that did deliveries for Home Depot and Lowes. When our techs got tipped it was only occasional and they were always super grateful and excited but they never expected it.
I tip. We have had furniture and appliances delivered 5 or 6 times in the past year and we always give at least $10 per person. The only time I did not tip was when we had to call the guys back out to switch a piece out because it was torn.
Re: Are you supposed to tip appliance delivery guys?
Do you have any baked goods? Beer?
I do if it's a PITA to get what they're delivering into the house. 2nd story apartment with narrow stairs and 2 barking dogs = I tip in my house.
1st floor entrance, unobstructed path, maybe not.
I possibly overtip so I would disregard this whole post.
I never have but we've only had appliances delivered once. LOL
I never thought of this though.

I have never even thought to tip an appliance or furniture delivery guy.
And generally, I am a generous tipper.
I guess I always assumed the box store employees couldn't accept them. Hmmmm.
