help with Kid Friendly restaurant near metro center

in D.C. Area Babies

friends are visiting in Dec with eight month old twins and hooking up with another set of 5 year old twins. they want to meet near metro center in a kid friendly place.

beyond the food courts around there, any ideas? i thought Chef Geoffs might be able to handle it during lunch (i have seen little ones there before).....but i have little experience heading to lunch with four children.

    Elephant and Castle is kid friendly at lunch, slightly less formal than Chef Geoffs, but not a food court.
    Wife, Musician, Fed, WW-er, and Mom of three little kids - not necessarily in that order.

    Chef Geoff's is very kid friendly.  It's our go to nice restaurant with the kids in tow.  They even have baby purees on their kids menu (the chef wrote a book about making purees a few years ago).  There are tons of places like Potbellies that are kid friendly as well if they are not looking for waitress service.
