While I don't think this is going to take off I figured I would give it a shot for any of us that are interested in being held accountable for what we're doing, eating, etc.
How much are you looking to lose? Did you lose any this week? Any accomplishments? Failures?
Happy Friday ladies
Re: Fat A$$ Friday! (check in)
I'll start.
I have about 35lbs to lose (in a perfect world I should lose 60lbs).
I am actually 2lbs lighter this morning then I was on Tuesday but I'm pretty sure I was just bloated that day so I'm using todays weight as my starting point.
I've managed to eat three meals a day for the last two days and will today too which is an accomplishment for me. I tend to skip breakfast, eat an early lunch and then not again until dinner which makes me over eat at dinner.
Exercise? Ha.

I'm hoping to lose about 30-35 pounds total. At this point I'm under my pre-PG weight but I put on weight during my IF treatments, so I've got extra to lose.
I haven't lost any this week. When I weighed on Wednesday morning, I had put on almost 10 pounds since I last weighed in. I'm hoping some of it is bloat and water weight since I feel like AF is on the horizon.
I failed miserably this week. I'm hoping to eat better starting Sunday. Tomorrow is already in the crapper for me.
I'll participate as long as you promise not to call yourself that anymore
No more negative self talk, girlie!!
I sent you an email. Did you get it?
Anyway, I've had a long journey with my weight loss since becoming pregnant. The short version is that I lost 50 lbs between babies, then gained about 30 while pregnant. I'm now 2 lbs away from my pre-pg weight, which was still about 20 away from my original goal.
Things I've done to get here: I'm obsessed with pushing play
At-home workouts are what work best for me. August 1st, I started ChaLEAN Extreme and after 90 days, I had lost 19 lbs and a pile of inches. I'm now doing Turbo Fire and ChaLEAN in a hybrid. So, strength (which I believe is super important) and cardio. Most days I do both. 30 min of ST (strength training) and 30 minutes of cardio.
Also, I eat like a horse
I think a lot of misconception lies within the calories. Most of the tracking sites are so skewed. I spent many years practically starving myself using SparkPeople until I sat down with a trainer and figured out what I should really be doing. Now I eat 10-12x my body weight. 12 on the days I workout a lot, 10 on my sedentary days. I track with MyFitnessPal (Score! iPhone app scanner) and I've added on calories to what they suggest for me. I think I added 500, actually!
As of this morning, I'm down 25 lbs since August 1.
Okay, that was long winded. I hope that we stick to this, because I'd love to watch you girls start droppin' fat like it's hot
I'll play!
I have had a roller coaster with my weight and have been working hard on getting healthy for a while now, mainly because of my diabetes. When I first got dx with PCOS/Type II I was at the highest weight of my life, 275, and my doctor said to start losing asap. By the time I got KU with Alynn I was down to 248. Since I couldn't keep anything in my system while pregnant and I was incredibly good at eating on my "diet" I got down to 218, by the time I had her I was right at 230. Since having her I have gotten back down to 218 by walking and sticking to my diet, but I am stuck on a plauteu right now and have another 40 lbs to reach my goal, or a size 8, what ever happens first!
DH and I got a gym membership and I spend 45 minutes a day doing cardio, 30 minutes doing ab/leg/floor exercise, and weight training 3x a week. I milk my alone time at the gym for all its worth. I just figured out my routine with the trainer and have lost 2 lbs already this week. I forgot how much I love working out!
I am also being really good about taking my metformin (which helps with weight) and sticking to the strict diabetic diet I was on when I was KU.
When do you all find the time to work out? Between work and spending time with Z, I'm having trouble finding time to do this.
I'm trying to keep on track with eating healthy-ish. Cutting out snacks, smaller portions, etc. I know that won't get me to where I want to be (15 lbs less would be great), but it's a start.
Mmmm...cake!
Ok since we're doing this I will admit I didn't try very hard this week. Next week for sure!
Today I had a hostess pie and a soda as a snack. You can kick my gigantic @ss for it. I accept the punishment. I have 50 pounds I want to lose. I would settle for 30.

I feel you! I work from 7am-5pm. After work, we make suppper, play with the girls for a bit, then hit the hay for the night. I have found that I have to get up before work to work out. I have a couple Jillian Michaels' DVDs that I use. I have met my weightloss goal, but 7 wks PP, I wanted to lose 35 lbs. I did 30 Day Shred every day for 4 months. I did many complete cycles of it, combined with tracking caloric intake on Spark People, and I have lost it all. Getting up at 5 am to work out is rough, but hang in there! It is so worth it in the end!
Good luck, ladies!
