At that age mine took 1.5-2 oz of formula every 3-4 hours. He was only about 5 lbs at that time though (born at just under 36 weeks).

Mine was getting 3oz every 2 hours. Now he gets 3 1/2. But he is 3 weeks old and is 12 lbs.

Our pediatrician said to take the # of weeks old that the baby is & give her that many ounces. There is obviously a cut off point to that but so far it's been pretty accurate. This past week the baby has been taking between 2-3.5 ounces every 2-3 hours, with the exception of a cluster feeding Wed/Thurs when she was drinking 1-2oz every hour to hour & a half. I pump, BF at night & supplement with formula for 2-3 feedings a day.
