  Is it just me or is posting pregnancy studio pics on the internet like that a bit strange? I mean there are some real freaks of the week out there with pregnant woman fetishes and well.....I wouldn't want to be the material. Just sayin'.

  Whenever I see the nude pregnancy pictures, I think the exact same thing.

  I still can't comprehend what attracts people to that damn gauze they wrap you in to cover all your bits except your belly. Clothes are cute too.

  Side note: this was the caption on one of the pictures:

  Christmas song came on and my baby began to move so much. My family was able to feel him for the first time. I also been able to feel his heartbeat placing my on my belly. 

   

  From what I understand, you can't feel a heartbeat through your stomach with your hand....and if you do, its probably just the pulse in your own palms.

  As for the pulse, It's most likely her own abdominal arteries. There is a whole lot of blood flowing through your abdomen, even before pregnancy. When we do assessments we can even see the pulse in many people's abdomens. It was one of the first things I noticed when I got pregnant, how much more palpable my pulse was there. When I let people feel the baby move I warn them first that the increased blood flow can feel like baby moving.
