Need an inexpensive bike rec

We do the Angel Tree every year, and try to get a child the same age as DS--in the hopes that as he gets older he understands that children his age aren't so lucky. Anyway, our child this year is a 3-year old boy and he asked for a bike.  I'm guessing more along the lines of a tricycle, but thought I'd ask you ladies for some recommendations. Our DS has a tricycle, but we got it at a consignment sale.  I'd like to get something on the inexpensive side so we can give him some other gifts on his list too (warm winter clothes, etc).

    I do believe my mom just found a tricycle at Walmart for $47 for DS.

    It probably goes without saying, but just in case... please, please, please make one of his gifts a helmet.

    A bike -- what a special gift for an Angel Tree kid! I'd bet a lot of them get basics, but not something so awesome.
