Doula

How many of you are using or used a doula?

We are still looking for a practice who will be supportive of a VBAC, and may have found one (yay) but talking to a friend who used a doula, it occurred to me that might be a good option as well.

    Yes!  We did with my VBAC and it was the best decision, hands down!

    If I was going with a OB practice, I absolutely would get a doula.  I feel like if I had one the first time, I wouldn't have had my c-section.  I really needed the support.

    This time, I'm going with a midwife who is very hands on.  I need to talk with her and decide if I also want to have a doula.
