Totally bummed...Ugh!!(a bit long)

I went to MIL house last night for dinner and as we were leaving, she happens to say to me that I need to get on the ball and have a baby already. A bit of a background on me?we have been TTC for over 2 yrs and  I had a miscarriage in March then we?ve tried IUI and #2 was last couple of wks ago which resulted in a miscarriage yet again on 11/4. Needless to say I?m already super depressed and sad that this keeps happening and she adds insult to injury. Then to make me feel worse, I went to RE today and the girl at the front desk said ?wow you have been monitored for so long, when you are you going to go?? I love my RE and everyone that works there but I guess I was feeling sensitive about the whole thing.  I really just needed to let this out because I have been crying my eyes out about it all day and couldn?t really vent to DH about MIL. Thanks!

    I am so sorry. Does your MIL know about you TTC and the miscarriages? I assume so, but not everyone tells their family about it. If she did, that was super insensitive and I am so sorry. And staff at the drs. offices really should be trained in what not to say to patients! Ai-yai-yai..

    Yeah she knows about it she just says these kinds of things all the time and I bite my tongue about it.

    She knows about your m/c and she still said that?

    Oh honey, I am sorry.  You aren't being overly sensitive.  I would be upset by those comments too.

    Those are horrible things to say! Esp if she knows what you and dh are going through right now! You are really not over-reacting, at all.

    (((((BIG HUGS)))))) I am sorry you have to deal with such catty comments from someone who is supposed to be loving and supportive for you.

    Believe me when I tell you if I could have I would have ripped her to shreds right then and there. I just don't want to cause issues between my DH and his family. He was upset about the comment too but he NEVER say anything to her and tells me "you know how my mom is."
