  Update:  Just got back from FET consult - he wants to do a longer FET cycle than I've read about in the past which includes BCP and Lupron.  Based on the fact I will probably get AF during their holiday shutdown looks like I'll be doing FET in February.  Other than that ... got some unexpected news on my embies ...

  I should clarify, it hasn't completly spilt, there are two masses in one embryo.  If it were to stick it would eventually split into two ... I'm still floored.  Guess this solidifies that we'll be doing another eSET

  Update:  My 3dt is tomorrow.  So far we have 3 embryos that are growing nicely.  Two of them are 3 cell and the other is slightly ahead at 6 cells.  Hoping things go smoothly tomorrow.

  Hi ladies!

  I'm meeting with our new RE/new clinic on Friday and i'm actually really excited. Hoping to get some questions answered and talk about a plan for next year. I also started infertility counseling today and made some personal goals for myself.

  Stopping in for a quick update.... IUI#3 was a BFN.  And now I have a cyst on the right side.  I have been on BC for a week and still have another week until my next ultrasound.  Hopefully it will have shrunk and we can cycle one more time in2011.  Wah-wah.  I'll check back later to give any hugs to who needs them.

  First I am so sorry that I have been sucking at checking in.  I am going to try and do better!

  NMScuba - I am so sorry about the BFN.  I hope that time flies by quickly and you are cycling again before you know it.  BCPs just suck when you are going through IF treatments.  (((hugs)))

  Aegis - wow that is one little rockstar frostie you've got, so cool to know that it is identical twins already.

  Good Luck to all those in the 2ww, getting ready for ETs, ERs, IUIs and/or further testing and procedures.

  FB Group Info: For those that want to join the secret DE/DS FB group please feel free to PM TheWorms or myself.  Just a forewarning I do have quite a few pics of DS on my FB and won't be offended at all if people prefer to friend TheWorms to get into the group if baby posts would be at all hurtful, I completely understand.

  QOTW:  My parents still snag a piece of red fabric onto the fireplace screen and make us come down in order of age to see the presents Santa left us.  I think it is so cute and my dad really loves doing it which makes me happy.  I also love that our family opens one gift at a time while everyone watches.  It takes forever with a large family to open gifts, but I love that each gift is oohed and awed over and we really get to enjoy the effort everyone has put into the gifts.

  Update: I triggered tonight and have ER Friday at 6:30 am!  I have at least 10-11 mature follicles and many more smaller ones.  I'm so freaking excited!  I was cautiously optimistic Micro-Flare would work, but still scared to have hope.  Everything has gone smoothly this time, it is hard to not get excited!  I was just so scared I would get canceled again.  I will keep you updated!

  Update - In the dreaded 2WW for IVF #2 - I can't believe I have another 10days of the crap to go. I am feeling blue - already feeling like it didn't work. No good reason why - just blue.

  QOTW - Well, we don't celebrate Christmas since I am Jewish (even though I used to love Christmas and celebrating it with my friends). They all have little one and I just don't fit in. My family tries to have a get together for Hanukkah but they all have little one's too so it is hard. No real traditions being kept - just me feeling incomplete.

  Hysteroscopy 3/2011 2 Polyps removed 4/2011
  DH on Clomid / Arimidex to address hormonal issues - Sperm found July 2011!
  IVF #1 September 2011 - ER 9/8/2011- 8R, 5M - icsi - 1 made it to transfer - BFFN :-(
  IVF #2 Lucky November 2011 - ER 11/25/2011 - 15 eggs!, 13 mature, 10 fertilized with isci - 7 made it to transfer! Transferred 1 - 8 cell and 2 - 7 cell. BFP!!!!
  1st U/S - Twins! 2nd U/S - 3 heartbeats!!! - HOLY COW!!!
  Prayers for our take home babies!

  So we had our u/s on Monday and we have one jelly bean growing and got to see the heartbeat.  It was an amazing experience.  Things are finally seeming a little real now, but still odd.  I have been released to my OB and have my first visit on Monday, we shall see how that goes.  I hope I get another u/s but I doubt it. 

  You are all in my thoughts and like gervais, if anyone has any questions about DS, feel free to PM me or page me.  I am checking in from time to time.

  Update: I triggered tonight and have ER Friday at 6:30 am!  I have at least 10-11 mature follicles and many more smaller ones.  I'm so freaking excited!  I was cautiously optimistic Micro-Flare would work, but still scared to have hope.  Everything has gone smoothly this time, it is hard to not get excited!  I was just so scared I would get canceled again.  I will keep you updated!
  

  QOTW:  I love baking!  I love having the tree up and I love how the cat lays under it and plays with the ornaments (shatterproof of course!)

  Over 1 million in cryo in 15 vials over 6 samples
  IVF #1 - 1 beautiful expanded blast transferred, 4 snowbabies - beta #1 11/30/11 = BFFN
  FET #1, transfered 2 embies 2/16/12 = BFFN; 1 snowbaby left in cryo
  IVF #2 + CGH = 4 genetically normal embies on ice. FET September 26th
  SAIF/PAIF always welcome

  Hey ladies! I've really sucked at checking in but I think of you all.

   

  I think DH and I are still working on our own traditions.  The last few years I've had a hard time getting into the spirit of things, so I don't think that's helped ;P
