Anyone else ready for next baby already?

I was pregnant with my sister and three of my best friends and we all had our babies within three weeks.. I was the only one that actually planned on baby. They all say how they dont want another baby for a very very long time... me however I'm ready for my next!! I loved being pregnant and I LOVE my LO!! DH actually wants me to be pregnant in time to have another September baby! I plan on having them 18 months apart. Me and my brother are only 9 months aparts and we are so close.. maybe thats why I want them so close so maybe they will have the same relationship.. Is anyone else ready for next baby already?

My DH is. My Dr. said that I should wait a year to start trying, so I'll probably follow her advice. Also, I'm not getting my period, so I don't see how we could plan it now. Good luck to you :-)

Nope not ready. We are 2 and done. They are 19 months apart and honestly I love it!! I planned on 2 years apart but we were blessed.

Two is fun, very challenging age from 17-now (22 months). I wish I could have my sweet 15 month old back some days. LOL!

i would LOVE to have another baby, but i want a little time to spoil my LO now and have my body recover. I also dont want to be BFing while pregnant. We will probably TTC late next summer or around her first birthday. It only took a week to get this LO so im not taking chances by TTC any earlier than that. My sister and I are also 18 months apart and I LOVE it, i want my kids to be that close as well, i think its great. also, i couldnt imagine being pregnant while taking care of this tiny baby- she wears me out!

I would love to have another one now too but I feel I should wait to try until shes at least a year. I want to enjoy every minute with her and Id feel like i was taking away from her by having one right now.

My sister and I are 19 months apart and we are very close but also fought ALL the time!

and not to sound vein but with this baby I went right back to my pre pregnancy weight if not smaller without any stretch marks, I worry the next one i wont be so lucky lol

But we are going to try for number 2 probably sometime mid next year because I'm not getting any younger over here. lol. Also, I like the idea of them being close in age. My sister and I are 17 months apart and so close!

I'm definitely not ready just yet but I'm already excited for it to happen again, I know I want to wait at least a year and I won't change my mind but in "theory" I am ready now

I imagine what it would be like to be pregnant again now all the time, what it would be like with two under 2... it's fun and crazy to *think* about but not as a reality yet!!!

That's hilarious.... a 3mo old is adorable but it doesn't get easier and sometimes it is good pace yourself. A poster above comments about how hard 17-22mo has been, well, 2-2.5 is not an easier time as they are learning so much. I am sooo glad DDs are 2y9mo apart -though to be honest I didn't have a PP period until dd1 was 16mo and then they were anovulatory for a few months so wasn't possible for me anyway w/o weaning. Now DD1 is potty trained and can entertain herself and better yet, understand when DD2 needs me more than her, a 1 yr old would never get that. For the record, me and my sister are 15mo apart and I thought I wanted my kids that close. You can't make your kids be friends, they will be to some degree no matter what. My DH is done w/ 2 kids, I don't think I am but we will cross that bridge in 1.5-2 yrs.

if could stay at home full time i would love another, especially to keep them close in age. ( my sis and i are 15mo. apart) but we're planning on waiting until DD is out of diapers and i'm out of school. i'm already sad at how quickly DD is growing

We are thinking of TTC around Abby's first birthday. Depending on how long it takes us, & no complications that is where we are at.

We are 2 and through. But my 2 are 13.5 months apart and I like the spacing. It's hard and like PP, even the easy days are hard. But their bond is already pretty strong and my DD loves me DS so much! We planned DS and I don't regret it at all. My DD was 4-5m old when we started TTC and it happened right away. The logistic are somewhat easy with these 2 but going out is such a project! You have to do what right for your family...

I had my baby in April this past year and this past August I found out I was pregnant again - due date being 1 day shy of my LO's first birthday. Cried and cried and cried because I wanted the 1-on-1 time with my LO before having another baby. While I'm still not 100% sold on the idea of having another one I am thankful and overjoyed with the opportunity to be a mommy to another LO. The downfall to having another one so close to my first was that I only gained 14 pounds with my first and so I couldn't breastfeed, give the proper nutrients to a growing baby inside me, and feed myself so I could no longer breastfeed. While my LO got 4 months of it I am very sad that I couldn't do it longer.

This for me too. I am excited to have another, but do want to wait until DD is about a year old before we start TTC again. I also want to give my body time to recover and get back in shape before getting pg again.

Oh heck no!!! My DD is 5 weeks old and this is extremely hard! I want her to be at least 3 years old before I am pregnant again. It would also be nice if she was potty trained before we had another baby too. I commend all of the mommies out there that have babies back to back. I just don't think I could do it. Plus I want to get my body back in shape before it goes to crap again while I am preggos.

Yup! Once my period comes back, we are trying! If it doesn't come back by Feb/march, my wife is going to try. I carried our son, who will be 2 months on Monday, and absolutely loved being pregnant and am a SAHM so it would be easier for me to carry the next one but we aren't willing to wait since I am EBF and it might take a while for my cycle.. Fingers crossed it comes back soon!

Oh heeeeelllllllll no I think DS might be an only child. I love him to pieces but I hated being pregnant, and never want to experience labouran delivery and recovery again. Nevermind the challenges of having a newborn. This $hit is hard and I won't be signing up again anytime soon.
