Do they do an internal? Maybe it depends on how far you progressed if you didn't have a scheduled csection?

I dilated to 8 cm and my water was broke, but I didn't push. Wondering if an internal is warranted tomorrow or if he will just look at my incision again (my lazy butt is trying to avoid shaving if at all possible, lol).

I had one, but dilated to 10 and pushed for 2 hours. I didn't worry about shaving, I figure my OB could care less about my grooming.

I had one and a pap. MY OB is lucky that I showered.

I had one too. I went through 25 hours of labor before my c-section though, so maybe that had something to do with it.

I had one both times (after a "trial of labor"-turned c/s and a repeat c/s). Sorry.

They didn't do one at my f/u. Maybe my OB was negligent. ::shrug::

I had one, and I was glad she did it. I wanted to know that everything was back to normal in there!

I was due for a pap but my doctor wouldn't do it at my pp appt because my cervix was still slightly open

I had an unplanned c-section after a good 2 or 3 hours of pushing. At my 6 wk I didn't have to get checked at all. I saw a midwife though. She said because I did not deliver vaginally or tear, I did not need it.
