Christmas gift for a soon to be 1st time daddy

Hi All,

This is my first post on thebump- I am 20 weeks pregnant with our first baby- its a boy- and my husband is really REALLY excited about it. What are some really cool gift ideas that some of you have given to your new daddys for the holidays? I am open to any suggestions :) Thank you!

    cool diaper bag, masculine baby carrier (most dads i know really dig the look of just a plain bjorn), if he is crafty the book "handy dad"...

    ditto a good baby carrier! We have the plain khaki Ergo and DH loves carrying LO around in it. He used to absolutely melt when LO was still an infant and she would fall asleep against his chest while she was in it.

    You could get baby clothes for his favorite sports team too as a stocking stuffer. DH loves that stuff.

    We got my DH a gag/funny gift, it was a Daddy tool belt and I filled it with all sorts of funny things...plastic gloves, ear plugs, nose plugs, handi wipes, and  a copy of Being a Great Dad for Dummies :-) Congrats and Happy and Healthy 9 months!

    Happiest Baby on the Block DVD.  This is kind of for you too but I swear, this DVD made my DH a believer.  Now he tells me to buy it for every baby shower I go to and he tells all his new dad friends about it.

    Thank you all for the great gift ideas! I am def. looking at getting him a baby carrier (hopefully I can find one that is falcons themed, lol) and the DVD is on my list as well! Thanks for all the great suggestions :) Happy Holidays!
