If you failed your 1 hour test....did you pass your 3 hour

Just got the dreaded call from my dr. that I failed my glucose test by 1 little point.

I know this has been posted previously but if you failed your first test, did you pass your 3 hour? How many points over were you on your 1 hour test?

I failed my 1 hour by what the nurse said "just a touch over the norm" so not sure what my number was. I did pass my 3 hour test with flying colors so I'm guessing it was on the lower side of norm. I plan to ask my dr what my numbers were on Tuesday when I have my check up.

I'm in the same boat hun. I just failed by 2 measely points. Going for my 3-hour next week. Good luck! I'm sure you (and hopefully I!) will pass with flying colors.

It really can go either way. I failed the 1 hour by 1 point. Ended up failing the 3 hour by 1 point too.

I was 5 points over on my one hour and did extremly well on my 3 hour... Good Luck. Its soooo stressful.

Can't say for certain what my numbers were but I failed the 1 hour and passed the 3 hour.

I failed the 1 hour with a 144 and passed the 3 hour. I don't know what numbers I had for that though.

I didn't think to ask the nurse for the one hour number, but I did pass the 3 hour. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. The nurse told me that if you eat something really sweet before the one hour it will mess up the results. I ate pancakes with honey right before my appointment.

I failed by like 35 points! But then I passed the 3 hour....I had a big lunch right before the 1st one, so I think that's why I failed. If you only failed by 1 point, chances are, you will be just fine on the 3 hour!

Failed the 1 hour with a 132. My doctor's cut-off is 130. Passed the 3 hour no problem.

Failed the 1 hr with a 132 and also failed the 3 hr. I don't know what my numbers were on the 3 hr because I was so upset when I found out that I didn't even ask but I'm suspecting it was pretty close to the cut-off. My blood sugar readings that I take 4 times a day are always well within the normal range.
