Update on DH

Good news - enough people with DH's employer evidently didn't get enrolled in insurance during the election period, so they extended it til the end of the week. DH & our son are officially enrolled for 2012 health insurance. I am so incredibly incredibly happy. Tears of joy here on this.

He's still in the hospital, and the gastro doc said that his nausea is likely caused by some medications he's on. So, we'll see if that can be better managed. The more concerning thing is some acute abdominal pain (like it gets to a point where he rates it as a 10 & they give him morphine). The gastro guy said it is not presenting as anything GI related, and he suspects there is a nerve issue (pinched nerve? Hernia? not sure - waiting on next doc).

    Ya, they did. They did an MRI-ish thing yesterday & didn't find anything abnormal since that was the original idea. Poor DH is feeling defeated that they can't really find anything at this point. He's so paranoid that no one will believe him.
