    People laugh at me when I say my first 2 kids never played with toys.  DD had untouched barbies and DS had unopened boxes of Legos (pounds and pounds of legos!!).  They ran around, played with boxes, ripped paper, 'cooked' with my tupperware, etc. 

    I plan to not buy much for this LO either...let him find the joy in the simple things!
