need to find an inexpensive dress!

We are going to my dad's work holiday party and I need to find a dress that is

1. inexpensive

2. somewhat formal or like a cocktail dress

Does anyone have any ideas for under about $80?

I had to find a dress for mine and my husband's Christmas party. Since this is my last pregnancy, I REALLY didn't want to buy a maternity cocktail dress, they are so expensive! So I went to minefornine.com and rented one for $30. Yeah, it's kind of throwing away money because you're renting a dress, but if you can't wear it again anyways I figure it's all the same! It's worth looking into

Now I am jealous that I didn't know about this website before I had a Gala to attend last month! I ended up wearing a hand-me-down dress from Destination Maternity but I really wanted a long dress. There are some really cute dresses on here!

I bought two at Target that aren't super fancy, but definitely dressy (I'm wearing them for holiday parties). One has the empire waist with knee length black skirt/bottom and fitted contrasting color top (I think it's silky--can't really remember), and the other is a sleeveless gray dress with a black ribbon belt with beading on it. Very, very cheap.
