Hello!! We are getting everything together for the shower/photos and I wanted to get it squared away quickly..
1. Who did you use for maternity photos? I want something very simple, no belly shots including me and my husband. Also, please provide the website if pics are available.
2. Where did you buy clothes for photo shoot and/or baby shower? I can't find anything nice...
3. Baby shower cake recs in Broward or north Miami?
4. Recs on where NOT to register. I hated my Target wedding registry and want to know where else to stay away from.
5. If you purchased Munire furniture for your baby, are you happy with it?
Thanks in advance

Thanks so much for the advice! I fear BRU like the plague (I know I'm having a baby, but I'm not a fan of screaming children). I'm going to check out the photo recs and the clothing ideas. I hope can even fit into express clothes at this point! I've never heard of Mimi maternity and will check them out too.
Glad to hear you are happy with Munire!
You ladies are the best
1. KarenLisa (www.karenlisa.com) did my maternity photos and I love them! She is a fellow bumpie, but I think she is on vacation over the holidays. Ricky Stern Photography (www.miamiphotographer.net) did my newborn photos. I know he does maternity pictures so you might want to try him. Great pictures and reasonable prices. I was looking at DD2's newborn pictures the other day and thinking how happy I was that I had them...
2. I bought clothes from Destination Maternity - they were either Pea in a Pod or Motherhood, I don't remember which, but they carry both.
3. If you are in Broward, which I am, I would recommend Cups and Cakes. Love how her cakes taste and if you tell her what you are looking to spend she can normally work within your budget.
4. I only registered at BRU, so I don't know if I can help you on this one. I don't love them, but on the other hand, they were okay. I would caution you against selecting "online only" items because they wouldn't let me return those to a store. No problem except, that means you have to send it back and the person who bought it gets the money put back on their credit card. They will know that you returned their gift, which I would feel awful about. I kept stuff I didn't need because there was no way to return it and I didn't want to offend anyone.
5. I LOVE DD2's Munire crib! We bought the floor model and I couldn't be happier.
