Just cancelled WW

I had a fast pass, I thought it would keep me going to meetings, but I have not been in 2 months. Being at work part time and DD and classes other days - it is almost too hard to find the time.  I am just feeling like a blob and I need to motivate to lose weight.  I lost my baby weight, now I just need to lose the other 30 pounds i always needed to lose

having a total fat day

maybe i will join WW again when I can commit but what are other ladies doing, well those that still need to lose

edit: getting a tuna melt for lunch may have led to this very fat feeling!

Re: Just cancelled WW

  • I work out when I can.  I am actually considering 'leading' a spin class or two a week (I hesitate calling it teaching when I'm not certified but basically I'll be in there doing my thing and if others want to join me, more power to 'em) and doing other classes at our gym here.  I've starting giving up a couple of lunch breaks a week to work out - but I can only do that because we have a gym.  I'm waiting for WW to resume here...but I'm finally starting to see improvement after stalling out a while ago.

  • I'm loosely doing ww, but I haven't been doing well with tracking points the past few days.  But I have been exercising 5 days a week... I've been taking a "Baby Boot Camp" class which has been kicking my butt.  It is a great way to exercise and entertain LO at the same time.  I didn't a chance to go today (too much crap to do) and I actually MISSED exercising today so I just jumped on the treadmill and ran about 3 miles.  Like OP, I had no problem losing the baby weight.. I'm just trying to lose the 20lbs I should have lost before getting pregnant.

  • Loading the player...
  • I'm having some success with WW, but I'm doing the online version because I know I wouldn't have time to go to the meetings! I have been slacking on tracking my points though with all the craziness around Thanksgiving, but hope to get back on track this week.

  • I haven't had time to go to the meetings either...but go and weigh in every 2 weeks.  It takes 5 minutes to do and it holds me accountable, just enough so that I am more careful about what I'm eating.  It's been working so far....losing on average 1 pound a week, but still have 9 left!

  • I could have wrote this and I also just cancelled my WW membership. I am at my Prepregnancy weight but I have 30 more to lose. I find it hard to keep motivated too... you are not alone. I wish DH would be more supportive. He can eat anything and not gain an ounce... now I'm just making excuses it is my fault I'm not lossing weight.

  • I'm right there with ya. I signed up, did it for two weeks, and quit. I've done nothing since but I need to get on it because I need to lose more than just my baby weight too. *sigh*

  • You should try myfitnesspal.com it is an easy way to keep track of calories and it is free. You don't have meetings or official weigh ins to keep you on track though so the hardest part is keeping the motivation and will power but you can add friends for support so if you decide to try it you can add me: kathetakite
