Trying to find peace with everything from today (Long)

I went to the diabetic OB today and it started off bad. I forgot my blood sugar logbook and monitor at home since I was running out the door for class today. They didn't seem too upset with that since I know what my levels run. They tried the fetal doppler for the second time in a week (I had a doctor's appointment last Wednesday) and they were unsuccessful again. They mentioned the baby having a heart condition, but didn't divulge into this.

Last week's appointment included blood work to check my thyroid level, which were good in the normal range, but the doctor (who is the third doctor I've been assigned to since going there in October) was still concerned with the thyroid since it is enlarged still, so scheduled an u/s on it for December 12, which I am supposed to be doing oral histories for my internship that day, so I'm either going to have to go in the morning to be back by 2:30 for the u/s or I'll have to reschedule one of them, which that one will the oral histories.

Then, no doctor has ordered an A1C (blood work to see your blood sugar average), so I had to go down for that and decided to tack on a 24 hour urine test to see if I am spilling protein into my urine (a sign of kidney damage) since I have spilled sugar into my urine at every appointment so far. I also got told I needed another eye exam to check for eye problems and a new insulin, which I'm worried my insurance will not cover since it's a pre-existing condition. I mentioned this to them, but they didn't seem to want to hear it.

I'm just so worried about how everything is going to work out for me and the LO. I'm really hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst.
