I just (already) got a response back from one of the stations I emailed.
She was pleasant enough, very noncommittal concerning the actual availability of internships but whatever.
Then I get to the end of her email and she goes "and I am married so the proper address would be Mrs."
Well first off, it's known as an honorific.
Two- how on earth am I supposed to know your marital status.
And 3- I'm also married so it isn't Miss Amanda.
Fuuck TTC - I'm moving on.

First of all, you're way nicer than I am because I probably would have gone and forwarded it to the manager too.
Secondly, I picture some uptight twit in a two piece suit with a bad perm and lipstick on her teeth.
He's the single greatest thing I've done in my life and reminds me daily of how fun (and funny) life can be. He's turned out pretty swell for having such a heartless and evil mother.
