I'm stumped on what to get DH this year...heck, I'm stumped every year! Does anyone know what Santa's bringing their SO?

I'm the same way but I finally know. It actually just fell into my lap tonight but DH is right beside me so I can't say right now. I'll tell you tomorrow when he's at work so check again tomorrow!

This may or may not help - we're doing 9 gifts because of Channukah and Christmas (we'd do 8, but DH is insistent upon opening a gift Christmas morning for Christmas and that night for Channukah). So I have a list of 9 things, although some are obviously smaller than others:

1) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 1 & 2

2) Pearly Jam 20

3) New Bluetooth earpiece

4) Hunger Games trilogy

5) Sam Adams glasses

6) Guitar Pick Punch

7) Whiskey Rocks

8) Johny Walker Black (I get this for him every year)

9 (Christmas gift): New wallet

I'm getting SO a watch that he's been wanting and a new laptop case plus a few cute/needed items for his stocking.

DH has an older truck that he's always working on, so he's asked for some part for it (exciting I know). He's also getting a cd player and speakers for it. Then he will get some smaller things and stocking stuffers.

I will be getting DH the usual socks and underwear. I also try to buy him something special from each kid. I'm getting him so Cognac (he doesn't buy it for himself ever because it's expensive). Then maybe a nice picture/frame of me and the kids for his office at work. We don't usually buy each other much for Christmas.

Believe it or not, I'm getting him a basketball hoop for our driveway. He has an intense job and never really gets to relax, plus he's been shooting around with DS's Little Tikes basketball hoop ever since we got it -- I think he's used it more than DS has!

I hope he likes it. He already has everything else anyway.

I'm so glad you posted the guitar pick punch! I pinned it months ago and then forgot about it. Now I have a great stocking stuffer!

a garage door. That's what he's getting me too! Last year we got carpet. We are exciting huh?

I will do stockings for both of us...so I get what I want. It is actually a little depressing, but it is what it is when you live with Scrooge.

Thanks for sharing! Right after I posted I came up with the perfect gift -- I'll get him a Wii plus Wii Fit. We're not game people but he works long hours and always complains that he never has time to exercise. And of course I'll get to use it, too. Wink
