I had my first internal and GBS test today. I am a centimeter dilated and effaced! The doc said this doesn't predict anything, but it sure made me feel excited to know that this pregnancy limbo won't be too much longer!

    Congratulations! Me too! My OB told me it doesn't really mean anything but then before she left she told me I can celebrate my centimeter!? I drive myself crazy trying to figure out the chances/comparing to other people. The worst part about it is I told some co-workers and one girl OF COURSE had to say, "Well, I walked around dilated 2cm for 4 weeks" GRR Don't you just hate that!? But we DO know it's a sign that things are taking a turn for THE END!!! Congratulations. Celebrate that centimeter dammit!
