  I will have to pay 100%, for United Healthcare, adding a baby will be roughly $500 a month.

  Get some other price quotes from other insurance companies, you never know...  All I can think is OOP is going to be cheaper than that after the initial hospital stay (or get it for the first 6mo and save up in a HSA then go off of that policy or change policies to a cheaper one...

  I live in Wisconsin, and I pay an additional $60 (biweekly) for my son's health insurance and that's the premium plan that pays 90%

  it'd cost roughly $250 to add DS to my plan and over $300 to add DS to DH's plan. we're going with a private plan at $100ish/month.
