that hasn't moved at all. Seriously at 8 am I noticed him outside the window while we were eating breakfast, and I told DH that I hope he finds somewhere warm cuz it was doing this snow/sleet crap outside. Well at lunch I looked and he was still in the same spot. DH just looked now...hasn't moved. Wondering if his a$$ froze to the ground or something. Weird. Just had to share.
Re: There is a rabbit in my yard
He is probably sick. =( ?poor thing.
Rabbits get very listless when there is something is wrong. ?Unfortunately wild rabbits have notoriously short lifespans (about 4 months!). ?Of course they are prey for all kinds of animals, but they easily get digestive problems that can send them into shock. ?Hopefully it wasn't a pet someone let loose thinking it could live in the wild.
Take all that away and pet house rabbits can easily live 10 years or more!?
Go check him out.
When I was a kid, a rabbit had a heart attack or something and died in a running stance in our backyard. Who knows.
I'll never forget walking on campus at college one very cold morning and seeing a little bird frozen to death on the steps. It was just such a sad image of a little vulnerable creature.
