Little baby boner?

Ok, sometimes when I change my LO it looks like his little pee pee is fuller and sticking straight up.  It's the funniest little thing!  Is this just some left over hormones in him?  And does anyone else ever see this??  I'm a FTM and obviously a girl...these boy parts are a mystery to me! ; )

    For DS, to me, that is "firing position" as he usually tries to squirt me when its up. So I just cover it up a few more minutes and then its back down.

    We always get a kick out of Tyler when he has a baby boner!  My mom was genuinely freaked out when I told her that baby boys get them...she had 3 girls.

    I have to agree with all of the PP! When I see that thing go up, the burp cloth/blanket/outfit/diaper whatever is closest comes down! Surefire sign of a golden shower in the near future!!

    Totally normal.  Expect many, many more:

    Many times, erections in newborn babies occur for no reason at all. Like startling or gripping, erections may manifest as early signs that your son's nervous system is functioning properly, explains the Children's Physician Network. Additionally, a newborn's erections can be a sign that his bladder is full and he needs to urinate.

    Haha, my little guy gets them too. I wasn't suprised because my 2 brothers are much younger than me and I changed them all the time. It's just nature.

    LOL! Yes Our LO gets them a lot! I was freaked out the 1st time but DH was like its his baby boner. It is cute because its funny and its our baby boy.Smile

    That hasnt happend yet with Xander but Im expecting it sooner or later. When I adopted the boys, Sterling was in diapers. He is not circumcised and sometimes when he would have really poopy diapers, I had to put extra effort into getting poop out of his foreskin. He would get baby boners when I had to do that. The first few times I got really embarrassed because I didnt know that was going to happen. FI assured me it was normal and I wasnt doing anything wrong lol.

    LOL Collin gets "morning wood" a lot. I think it's hilarious...I just try to make sure he stays covered up in case he has to pee again. My mom mentioned once in a fit of giggles that when she'd watched him a few times he had an occasional erection when she was changing him, and that she (jokingly) was glad that the neighbors couldnt see anything to think she was being inappropriate (his changing table is in front of a window that faces the street)...I mentioned that he gets them all the time, and that it's totally to be expected from a little boy. I couldnt help but giggle at my mom's reaction though, cause she, while acting totally calm but amused by it, seemed genuinely embarrassed. lol

    My LO gets them too.  I was warned by a friend when I was pregnant about them.  Our LO is the first boy in 60 years on my side of the family so this is all new to me.  The part that freaked me out the most was when I learned that boys get them before they are born when they are inside you.  ;)
