Anybody in Michigan love their RE?

I'm looking for the right one, with good success rates and bedside manner.  Thank you!

I go to Wayne State University Physician's Group Infertility Clinic in Southfield (https://infertilityupg.med.wayne.edu/).  They participate with a program called ARC that includes packages for IVF.  My physician is Dr. Singh, who is outstanding.  Him and the rest of the office staff treat you like a person and not a number.

I had also visited IVF Michigan in Ann Arbor for a consultation for IVF (https://www.midwestivf.com/).  The nurses and the doctor rushed me in and out, leading me to believe they are running more of a factory than worrying about patient care.

Good luck on your search!  I'd be happy to provide more info if needed.

Rachel, thanks SO much!  I just made an appointment with the female doctor at Wayne State, but I can't remember her name.

I just went to Dr. S at IVF Michigan (Ann Arbor) yesterday and it did not go well.  I'm still crying.

Can you tell me more about the ARC pricing?  I can't seem to find it on the site.  I did email already, but haven't heard back.

That's great news!!  I've heard nothing but good things about the practice and their success rates looked great to me.  I'm going in for my blood work tomorrow for the final verdict after my IVF cycle, so hopefully I'll be one of their success stories!

I'm sorry to hear that your appointment at IVF Michigan didn't go well, but it sounds like you may have had the  same experience I did.  I don't remember what physician I met with but he talked super fast and didn't seem interested in leaving any time for questions that I had.  I left the appointment with zero confidence.

Regarding ARC - I chose the one cycle plus option (includes one fresh cycle and one frozen cycle) without monitoring for $6,970.  "Monitoring" includes the office visits.  You can include this in your package, and I think that cost is around $9,700.  My insurance (Blue Care Network) covered most of my office visits so I didn't need to include it, but make sure you find out what your co-pay will be if the visits are covered, because little to my knowledge, my "coverage" was only 50%, so I had to pay about $100 every single time I went in.  It might have been worth it to just include it in the package.  My medication cost right around $3K.

Once you start your process you will start coordinating everything with (most likely) Chris, who is a saint!  She is very on top of things and is really a pleasure working with.

Let me know if you need anything else!

Really, I can't thank you enough.  It sounds like they are just what I am looking for.

I got the ARC info right before I saw your post, and am happy to hear there is a no-monitoring option (they didn't mention it in the email).  My insurance seems to cover 100% of u/s and b/w, so that helps a lot.

Best of luck to you tomorrow!!
