  We had a Sony one that we loved until DS stepped on the screen while DD was watching a movie.

  We got DD a new one for Christmas that is a RCA. Target had it marked down from $119 to $55 for Black Friday. It doesn't have as many bells & whistles as the Sony but it was a lot cheaper on sale.

  We have a Sony and love it!  Not sure of the exact model, but it's newer.  Oh, and my personal advice - Definitely get the warranty if a child is going to be using it.  Totally worth it.

  Are they 7" or 9" screens?  It seems like most listed are 7" but I didn't know if the 9" was that much better.
