We went to B&O's Railroad Museum at the B&O roundhouse in downtown Baltimore. It was a good time! During the holiday they have model train groups display their creations in the center of the roundhouse. The LEGO train club from DC was there. Everything was made out of legos! The museum is a bit pricey, but worth the visit. I can imagine that train lovers, like your DS, would be in heaven here.
They have train rides with Santa and Frosty, pictures with Santa, an explore and toy area for toddlers and a merry-go-round.......Some pics...
Nate and Mommy...(Small Smile!)
Nate with Cousin A and Grandma watching one of the train sets..
Siggy pic is Nate on the merry-go-round (Mommy is cropped out-oye!)
Re: Auntie:Thought of your DS....
I figured you had probably been there before. I am sure we will take Nate back again in a couple of years when he can walk and climb around better.
The snowstorm in 2003 that collapsed the roof also snowed me and DH in at a house I was sitting. I figured after that weekend that he was husband material since I wasn't sick of him after three days..The rum and coke in the liquor cabinet probably helped things too though....
Like!
Oh, and we went for the Thomas the Train deal over the summer. It's a bit over-stimulating...even for me...but a LOT of fun!
