My baby is going to start the 2's room

Like every milestone-big or small-it's bittersweet. He's starting to visit the two's room in the afternoons. Yesterday was the first time he was there when I went to pick him up and it was so strange to see him as one of the smaller kids since he's been one of the bigger and more advanced in the toddlers room for a while now.

In your experience, were there any major differences once they moved to the two's room?

LOL - I got teary reading your post and thinking about when E transitioned. I remember dropping her off the first time and the older 2s were just chatting away while DD just stared at them silently and I thought OMG my baby! These kids are too old for her! But of course she adjusted and John will too. We didn't have any issues at all with transition. The main focus of 2s was to get everybody PTd and work on self-care/responsibility - so wash hands, get your own plate for snacks, get out crayons and paper, etc.

Awww.... don't have experience with that, but Ethan is moving up next week to the Infant B room and I've been feeling the same way LOL. He was so happy when I picked him up yesterday in that room cause he was playing with the "big kids".
