do you guys remember these from when you were a kid?

I was looking at the gift ideas post for 2-3 yr olds and realized I had no idea what a plasma car was. After looking it up, it reminded me of something similar when I was a kid... my brother and I love riding them at this indoor play place we would go to. Reminiscing with him on IM, he found me several links... brings back memories!

 Now I really want to get DD a plasma car for Christmas so I can ride it... LOL.

    OMG I LOVED THOSE! I had no idea that's what they were called :) We had them in gym class and that was my favorite thing to play with!

    For the record, I was eye-ing plasma cars at Terra Toys a few months ago and the sales girl told me to try it. I may or may not have bumped into a display and knocked it over. I also had a hard time not buying the plasma car on the spot. I can't wait for DD to be old enough for one and I'm totally getting a set so that I can play with her :)

    I remember those but we never had one, I remember wanting one though!  But I totally ride our plasma car around all the time :-)  My kids both LOVE chase, and sometimes I'm too tired so the plasma car is perfect!  Often one of them will push me on it too :-)  And DH probably rides the plasma car more than the kids, it's a pretty hilarious site :-) 

    oh and the kids love riding it too ;-)

    I LOVED mine! Mine had a red seat Big Smile. My mom use to get soooo upset because I always rode it with a dress on and would tear my dresses. I think they finally had to throw it away because I'd wore it out so much.

    Santa is actually bringing the Flying Turtle to my house on Christmas morning.  Yay!  I always wanted one...!  So yeah, satisfying my own personal wants/dreams through my kids. 

    I was going to get the plasma car, but DD was able to maneuver the Turtle much more easily in the store.  I didn't look at the weight limit of the plasma car but I KNEW I could ride the Turtle.
