I have a 3 yr old and 8 month old twins. Just got Mirena about 10 days ago and freaking out a bit -- feeling off, angry, depressed. So bloated and crampy.
With all I have on my plate with the kids can't afford this messing with me.
My Gyno said to stick it out a few weeks or months and take vitamin b-12 every day.
i was mostly fine before this mood-wise.
It's a good option for me because of my PCOS.
Please share your Mirena experiene. I want it to work out but my inner voice is saying take it out.

I had it for about 6 months, but that was before I'd had a baby. (Apparenty after baby your body adjusts to it better).
For me the cramping never really went away, and I had a light period the whole time. I was not a fan!
I too have PCOS, and used a Mirena for 5yrs. My biggest issue was heavier than usual cramping. But periods were generally lighter. I also noticed my icky period symptoms (TMI) were worse, but it was a worthy trade off. Due to a blood clot, BC pills were off limits, and with Paraguard I bled 365d/yr befor having it removed. Mirena was my only real option besides condom/diaphragm. And I needed as close to 100% reliability as I could get.
I know it sucks, but stick it out another month or so. But you can also try Paraguard if this fails.
