XP: Update to Ear Tubes

LO (7 months yesterday) ended up having her surgery last Friday. She did great and the surgery went well. It took about 10-15 mins and they just gave her a little gas to put her to sleep. I suspect she can hear better but her follow up appointment isn't until the 16th. I have startled her just by speaking to her so we kept it to a dull roar at the house the first few days. On Saturday afternoon she broke out in a head to toe rash, horking, 103 fever. Great way to discover she's allergic to the antibiotic they gave her (her left ear- 50% hearing) was infected. She was 100% deaf in the right ear.

Soooo- 36 hours of baby pukey-fevery-mess and tears for mommy and 9 phone calls to nurses and pedi's and dr's- she's feeling better. This poor kid!! Keeping my fingers crossed and saying lots of prayers that this is our "fix" for her ears.
