Parenting after a Loss

My alarm woke me up this morning.

I slept through the whole night.

Even on the handful of times she has slept through the night, I never have because I'm a light sleeper and would wake up to turn over or whatnot, then listen intently for her, and then be wide awake.

I think this might be the first time in 11+ months that I have slept through the night.

Now, if that could happen for a week or so in a row, I might start to feel like a human being.

There's some wishful thinking, huh?

Isn't that a great feeling?!?  I had eight hours uninterrupted last night and I feel like I could run a marathon.  If I wasn't so inherently lazy!
