Anyone use the Britax B-Ready stroller with a car seat?

I am looking for a mom to answer my questions on the use of the Britax B Ready Stroller with a car seat that is not the Britax Chaperone -- perhaps you are using a Graco or a Peg Perego car seat?

When using the car sea in the bottom configuration of the stroller -- do you need to have both the lower adapter AND the universal adapter? If so, is the car seat sturdy in your opinion on the bottom? I noticed the Chaperone car seat is a click and go and seems very sturdy on the website videos --- I have a Peg Perego car seat but am having second thoughts now with using the adapters....

Also, do you need the EXTENSION ADAPTERS on the lower portion when using the lower metal adapter and the universal adapter?

  • I'm needing to figure this out too. I have the Britax B-Ready now (in preparation for number two coming) and we still have our Chicco Keyfit. Hmmm...

  • I don't have it yet, but everything that I have read says that only a Chaperone can be used in the bottom configuration. The bottom carseat adapter is only for Britax. You can skip buying the top adapter if you have a Britax, otherwise you have to buy a top adaptor to use any other kind of carseat. HTH
