Babies R Us shoppers!

Does anyone use the rewards card? I have opened one, and between my registry and baby furniture, I racked up the max $50 "R" Us dollars for the month. It sucks I can't accumulate more than that and they aren't going to do the "R" Us dollars from new years until after January. Does anyone know if I can redeem my $50 early and start accumulating again til new years? I tried asking about these "r" us dollar things at the store, but the employees at my BRU are dumber than dirt (I'm not being mean either - they really have no clue what is going on. It took our lady a half hour to figure out how to figure out that our furniture WAS in stock and she had to order just the dresser - and she was a manager!) If anyone knows how to use these, any insight would be awesome! TIA!!!

i have never done this before, but i recently purchased all the babys furniture and also some other things at black friday and wanted to see how much i accumulated. i am in the same position as you and i am going to assume we wont be able to use them because i found this little clause on the web.

10. You must be a Rewards?R?Us member to receive reward certificate(s). Member is responsible to present their Rewards?R?Us card/number at the time of purchase in order to receive proper credit. Certificate(s) have no cash value, may not be purchased and are not redeemable for cash or a refund under any circumstances except as required by law. Reward certificate(s) for purchases made from 10/30/11 ? 12/24/11 will be sent to members via email after 12/24/11 and are valid until the date printed on each certificate. Members can also view and print their valid certificates upon registration at Toysrus.com/rewards. Valid dates may vary on each reward certificate at Sponsor's discretion.

hhmm i guess whatever we accumulate now till the 24th of dec, they will email the reward certificate then. maybe if we are quick enough we can use it them gain another 50? i am not sure if i am understanding this correct though. i hope someone else reads this and can help us out here!!!

I believe this is correct. No certificates will be mailed until after Christmas Eve. As far as hurrying to accumulate more before New Year's, I have no idea if that's something that could be done. I believe we are almost at our $50 max out as well.

I don't usually post here, but have a suggestion that may help... Can your SO get a card (or use one from another family member) and you use that instead? I think you can probably update the number on your registry.

That's a really great idea! Thanks! I was happy we reached the $50 - but kinda sad that we still have a whole month and the registry is still pretty full. I have a weird feeling tho that people just aren't saying "this is on her registry" b/c my shower is almost here. The furniture is what put us up there.

i have never thought of this, its a great idea! im signing my DH up and if i cant then my moms doing it!!
