AW: Exciting Dr Appt Today!

So DH and I went to our 15wk appt today. We heard a nice strong heartbeat. It was around 170bpm at first, then went down to around 150, then back up. The doctor said it was moving around a lot because he had to chase it around with the Doppler! Haha. He felt my ute and said it's measuring more like 17-18 weeks, which I think could be why I'm already showing...wdyt?

We scheduled our anatomy scan for December 27. I'm disappointed that we won't know the sex before Christmas, but DH's bday is 12/29, so that will be a great birthday present for him!!

Anyway...I'm on top of the world again today and wanted to share :D 

First came love, then came marriage - Oct 31, 09
Then came a miscarriage March '11
Then came a baby in the baby carriage May 16, 12

Waiting on our second little peanut!

    I thought so too! Looks like we've got a live-wire in there...

    That sounds just like my baby... the heartbeat is always high because the baby is very active at the drs appts.  They wait for it to go down, but it jumps up again!  Our anatamy scan is 12/28... we were a little disapointed we couldn't get in before xmas, but hey, I"m still very excited~!

    BFP#1 EDD 11/8/11 - MC @ 9w6d, 4/15/11 we said goodbye

    Yay! I love being able to hear the baby. It just makes it seem so much more real. I think many women are showing by 15 weeks, but if the doctor says you're measuring more like 17-18 weeks, that may very well be why you're showing so much. I wonder if your baby will be measuring a few weeks ahead in your next u/s as well? Very exciting!
