So my husband and I have been TTC for just about a year now, and nothing. I have learned that if you haven't conceived with in the first year of using nothing for protection it's time to start asking questions. I was on birth control for quite a few years but have been off it for over a year now, my periods a regular and everything seems normal. I have three beautiful step children, so we know there isn't a problem on his side of things, lol. :P
We are basically just growing weary and are looking for the most natural way's as possible to boost fertility without having to go to a doctor and spend lots of money for unnatural fertility drugs. Upon my research I came across Mother's Hope and they seem pretty legit, and if so it would be a very great thing to try. I have tried finding reviews, but it has been difficult finding anything on them.
So my question is to all who are TTC or those of you who have possibly conceived taking these vitamins. Did you notice a difference? Did they work for you?
Re: Mother's Hope Fertility Vitamins
Have you been temping and charting? I strongly suggest you check out the 'I'm new' link in my signature.
The pills you mention will not make you 'more fertile' any more than any other multivitamin does. While it is highly recommended to take a prenatal, herbal companies do not have to scientifically support their claims the way pharmaceutics must.
Also, I would not recommend comments like "without having to go to a doctor and spend lots of money for unnatural fertility drugs".
This. I would be weary of "heral remedies" unless they are suggested by a doctor. Most of these herbal supplements do not require FDA approval, so they might not have been tested as much as pharmaceutical drugs.
Also just because either of you have had kids in the past does not mean that you will not have issues now, your fertility can change as you age.
I would start with temping and opks, they may give you some more insight into your cycle. GL.

PAIF/SAIF Welcome!
We have just began charting, I am just looking into vitamins that will help my body prepare for pregnancy. Perhaps I should have worded myself better. By 'more fertile' I meant helping in regulating my hormones to better up the chances on conception.
I am new to this website, I see your post 'i'm new...' Congrats on TTC, or if you already have. My mother had me when she was 36.
& I wasn't meaning offense to anyone by that comment. I just personally try to do things as natural as possible before seeking other options. It's just a matter of personal preference.
Fist? Uh oh.
OP- might I suggest baby-gaga.com? I think it is more of what you are looking for
Oh lovely. Very mature for a 35 year old. I could poke fun at you for your silly typos but what is the point?
Thanks for the link but I know what site I'm on and what I'm looking to get out it.
See now, if you took the advice in the link I suggested in my first post, you would know that lurking is a great way to learn about this board. Also, by lurking, you would have found that fisting is a major inside joke around here.
As for what this site is for, it's to make the creators money through advertising dollars, selling mailing lists, and cheap crap out of their store. Everything else is incidental.
ETA: ..I saw the earlier one..but I miss the kitty's...
Only cause I like ya!
